In an effort to better serve our customers in the Southern most states we are bringing on board Timothy Collins, to represent Beta Shim in the South Eastern region.
Timothy Collins is a senior aerospace executive with 35 years of proven success in growing multiple precision manufacturing businesses. Tim offers a wealth of knowledge around every Sikorsky helicopter, and his expertise in engineering, quality, supply chain management, manufacturing and reliability has led to significant revenue growth for each of his previous employers.
Starting with his family’s aerospace processing business, Tim has contributed to the success of three precision aerospace companies throughout his career. The driving force behind Tim’s success is rooted in his ability to gain certification as a qualified vendor to Sikorsky, GE Engines, Spirit Aerosystems, Lycoming, Boeing and many others. His tenacity and comprehensive understanding of precision manufacturing resulted in taking one business from a $1.3M to a $14M valuation, and he helped another double its sales from $7.5M to $15M. In addition, Tim was also directly responsible for increasing a company’s aerospace commercial and defense sales from $0 to over $20M.
Throughout his career, Tim has become a subject matter expert around all Sikorsky-model helicopters as well as the components and assemblies found within. As a Sikorsky vendor for more than 30 years, he has supported the development and repair of military and commercial aircraft including the Presidential helicopter, with special flight safety requirements, the S-60 Black Hawk, S-76, CH -53 E/D, SH-3, Sea Hawk and S-92.
