This December, Beta Shim closed out the year with our annual Beta Shim Summit, our company holiday event where we bring everyone together to celebrate accomplishments, recognize the people who made it happen, and share what’s ahead. Leadership presented our “2024 Review and Future Plans,” highlighting progress across operations, quality, customer relationships, and workforce development, while also laying out priorities and key initiatives for 2025.
As a small, family-owned business with more than 70 employees, we also take pride in supporting and being supported by our local business community. Earlier in the year, we reached out to area companies asking if they’d like to participate by donating to our raffle or sponsoring the event, as described in our sponsorship letter. Their involvement helps strengthen both company culture and local partnerships. Several businesses answered that call, donating raffle items, prizes, gift cards, products, and contributions. Their generosity helped make this year’s Summit our most memorable yet, and each sponsor was recognized on our Summit shirts and in our event ad book.
The event featured catered food, raffle excitement, time together away from production, and an overall spirit of celebration and appreciation. Employees enjoyed a great meal, passed out this year’s Summit shirts, had a chance to win prizes, and simply enjoyed ending 2024 together on a positive note. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, our employees, and our local business partners for making this event such a success.
We close 2024 proud of the progress we made and energized for what is ahead. 2025 will build on that momentum as we continue to grow capabilities, strengthen our team, support our customers, and supply our nation’s key defense programs with precision and purpose.
