Progress on the Beta 1 Expansion

Over the past month, significant progress has been made on the Beta 1 facility expansion—and we’re excited to share a quick update.

As you can see in the image above, steel framing is now in place, laying the groundwork for the newly expanded warehouse that will soon house our CNC Milling & Machining operations, currently based out of Beta 2 in Trumbull, CT. This consolidation is a key part of our ongoing plan to centralize operations and streamline production.

The construction team has been moving quickly and efficiently. With the site cleared, leveled, and now framed out, we’re entering the next phase of development that will eventually transform this shell into a fully functioning addition to our Shelton headquarters.

When complete, this expansion will allow us to:

  • Bring all CNC Milling & Machining in-house to Beta 1

  • Improve production flow and efficiency

  • Increase overall manufacturing capacity

  • Strengthen interdepartmental collaboration under one roof

We’re still in the early stages, but it’s exciting to see the vision taking shape. Stay tuned for more updates as the build continues—and thank you to everyone involved in helping us move forward with this exciting next chapter at Beta Shim.
